Comments about EZ SKI Trainer: I have never written a review before, but had to after using this product over the weekend. We had three kids ages 3-6 skiing for their first time. The conditions were not ideal as we had constant 40 mph winds making the lake rougher than what I would have liked. The rougher water was not an issue as all three kids got up on the first try. The smiles on each of their faces were worth 10 times the amount we paid! The part that has me hooked was the fact that we did not need an adult in the water to start the kids off as we would have needed if we had used trainer skis or the board ski trainer. When they were finished we could pull in the rope to get the unit next to the boat, take one child off then place the next child on and off we would go. It was just so simple! I also did not have to worry about them falling and getting hurt by the ski since it has the inflatable sides and seat. The kids had so much fun they did not want to stop.

Comments about EZ SKI Trainer: I started skiing when I was 4, my parents owned a ski school and I did ametuer competitions througout high school. I had the skis that tied together, and my older daughter had the wooden board type ski trainer. THIS NEW INVENTION IS AWESOME! My 3.5 yr old daughter loves it. It is sturdy enough for her to feel safe, yet she isn't strapped it and offers her to have free movement. We love that it a handle-to-handle rope so if she falls we can let our end of the rope go and she has the unit to climb up on. She rides for 30 minutes sometimes and waves at passer-bys. I love that she is getting a feel for the water and it's in a safe and fun way! We've reached max speed of 16mph and she's 38 pounds and it was great! I'd recommend to any young learner. We also used it on my 6 year old niece and nephew as well as my 8 yr old nephew.

Great product for building confidence in kids who are hesitant to try waterskiing. Very nice that they can sit on the product and don't have to get into the water, especially when the water is cold. My 3 year old daughter insisted that she never wanted to ski, so we told her this was her new tube. And she automatically told us that she was going to use the tube to "pretend" that she was skiing. Zero learning curve, she was standing right away. Product is very stable. So far, I haven't found anything I'd recommend changing.

I have been going to the Colorado River for 20 years, I was taught to ski with the old style skis and thought it was difficult to learn. I have been fortunate enough to get my hands on this great new product, the Ez Ski. The very first time I put my 3.5 year old daughter on it she loved it. I couldn't believe what she was doing. She wasn't scared to be on the river behind the boat. Take in mind she was never pulled behind the boat before... The first time out she stood up, waved to us while holding the handle with just one hand, she turned around and rode backwards, and we could not get her off of the Ez Ski. When we pulled her in all she was saying is more more more!!!! This is a great product to get your child aquatinted with all aspects of water sports.

I've been teaching kids to ski for over 40 years, using the old ski board type towables. This rig is so much better in that the kids don't have to get into the water. I am shocked at the number of people that boat today that DO NOT teach the young kids to waterski. This is by far the best teaching tool I've yet to see, to get the kids used to the idea of being pulled behind the boat.

A great product that was made for kids by someone who apparently has kids. My son was doing toe holds on his first afternoon. We did find it necessary to increase speed a little due to v-drive with large wake.

Our 3 year old grandchildren love it, especially because they can now "ski" next to Mom and Dad and older siblings on kneeboards. Only drawback is the standard diameter handle for the rider, which is a little too large for 2-5 year old hands. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with this device.

We started off by pulling him at 6-7 mph and now I'm pulling him at 18 mhp and he's able to go across the wake. My son calls the EZ trainer his 'wakeboard' since I'm an avid wakeboarder. His confidence is really high now; even when he falls off(since you just let go of the rope and he doesn't get dragged under the water.)

Comments about EZ SKI Trainer: My four year old son LOVES this thing. His 7 year old sister is a skiing whiz, but he has been a little reluctant thus far with the whole skiing process. But the trainer was so easy that he has zero concerns now... falling in the middle of the lake, strapping his feet in, all that stuff is a piece of cake now. Like those above me, it might be even too easy, but it has gotten him over signficant hurdles, he loves to do it, and I expect it will greatly facilitate the jump to skiing.

Comments about EZ SKI Trainer: This is a really great product for introducing skiing, especially for kids. I have a 6, 5, and 3 year old and they all have been on this thing. They have great confidence and even if they fall off, we were shocked that none of the kids got upset and hopped right back on. I like that the kid controls their own confort, meaning that if they want to begin sitting down and then stand up, they have that option. They can even get more daring and start to put pressure to move over wakes and stuff....Great product! We have loaned this to many friends already and have only had it a month! We wished that they had one for adults because we have had friends that have never skiied some with us and this would be great for them too...the only catch was the weight limit for adults??

However, after just one evening in the river with our four year old, this has proven to be worth every penny (I can't wait until our other daughter is old enough to use it). Not only did she "get up" on her first try, she kept going and going. It was amazing to watch her get more and more comfortable behind the boat while loving every minute of it.

We received our EZ Ski this week. When the kids saw it they could hardly contain themselves and wanted to get out on it ASAP! When we finally did get out on the water with it they took to it like they were skiing for years. There was no problems with them using it and they LOVED it! Had to peel them off it to go home after a full day on the lake.

I was totally amazed at how easy it was to use and the ease with which the kids could use it.

Awesome product! the one drawback is that it is hard to store on the boat, but they would probably be the same with any single board trainer.

This is an awesome product. My 2 year old loved it from the beginning. The first time he used it, he didn't want his turn to end. He 'skied' longer than anyone else. His new favorite saying is "My turn.". I'm sure this will give him the confidence to get up on trainer skis when the time comes. It is heavy and hard to transport, however it is worth it to see my son smile and ski behind the boat like a big kid. I also wish that the board had brackets to attach the ropes so that he could use it as a trainer when he is ready. Even so, it was still worth every cent.

Our 2 1/2 year old loved this. We put it on the ski dock at the back of our boat and he hopped on, he didn't even get wet. It is very stable, at one time he let go of the rope completely and was able to stay standing. Finally a great way to get toddlers behind the boat. It also worked well for some of the bigger kids who were a little unsure of being pulled.

Our 7 and 8 year old girls tried the traditional trainer ski last year and were TERRIFIED to continue to TRY a "traditional start" while sitting in the water (NOTE: the traditional method described is where the skier is fully in the water and the skis are held together with a stabilizer bar which is attached to tow rope that is held by a passenger in the boat). On the other hand, the EZ Ski REMOVES the most difficult obstacle of skiing...the "start." The EZ Ski immediately enables the thrill of being pulled behind the boat; with this product, the main difference compared to the traditional methods is that the kids can start effortlessly, stand up, learn the proper hand position, and begin to learn how their balance can direct where they go. You get on the EZ ski similar to a towable (which the kids always enjoy). NOW, not only are the older 2 girls skiing, our 5 year old girl and 3.5 year old boy have joined the fun. How great, all 4 of our kids LOVE TO SKI and eagerly wait to go out again on the EZ Ski.

Before we pulled our 3 1/2 year old on the EZ Ski behind the boat, my husband and I first pulled her on it in the swimming pool (believe it or not, she was able to "ski" in the swimming pool). She stood up on the EZ Ski with the biggest smile on her face out on the lake. Within about 2 minutes, she started bouncing on it to make it jump! Now she wants to ski all the time. She's having a little trouble getting it to cross the wake, but that will come with practice. We love it!

My two 4 year olds are just learning to swim and I didn't even think that they would want to try a towable. The EZ SKI gave them immediate confidence and success. They saw big sisters and cousins skiing, wakeboarding and kneeboarding and wanted to be able to participate. EZ SKI allows them time in the water and not just in the boat. Great product, easy to use, comes pre-assembled (just add air) and stores easily. Looking forward to the next lake trip and the girls are excited to go skiing!

I was looking for skis to teach our grand children water skiing and I found EZ Ski on your website. It is absolutely wonderful. It will do for water skiing what the snow board did for the ski industry. It will bring people into skiing at a young age. It is also a device that will allow children who may be physically challenged to have the opportunity to enjoy waterskiing who could never have dreamed of it before. Even our three year old grand daughter insisted on trying it and with a few minutes was skiing with one hand!

Marvelous and at a good price. I am thinking about getting a second one so I can have two grandkids up at the same time. Overtons was smart to get on board with Competitive Water Sports early in making this available to the public.

This product looked intriguing online - we have 3 little ones and many cousins and I wanted to begin getting them comfortable being pulled by the boat. My 6yr old was hesitant and I didn't want to push him, yet my 3yr was raring to go. He floated right out from the swim platform and was standing up after 5 minutes! After that display of courage by the youngest, my other son and their cousins enjoyed the remainder of the day on this wonderful creation. None of them ever even fell off or went into the water. It is very well crafted and easy to use. They'll enjoy this for years.

Our kids love the EZ Ski Trainer. Our 4 and 6 year old boys have so much fun. They are fighting over who gets to go next. It is safe, durable and fun product. Every little boy and girl should have one of these for their family. I wish they would make one for the adults, so the adults can get on and have some fun. It is easy to use and when they fall you can let go of the rope and the EZ Ski is right there. It is easy to inflate and to deflate. And it is not a large or bulky to store it is easy. This will have the kids in no time learning how to ski without the frustration that occurs when learning how to ski. Like I said before I hope someone will make one for us Adults.

My daughter turned four years old in May and was on the easy ski for the first time in June. It was so easy to get on and ride for her that I was wondering what the next step should be after the first 10 minutes. I am not sure how much this will help her ski until she actually tries to ski, but she loves doing it and it is very easy to use.

I have a child with special needs. We had tried everything else we could find including the ski skimmer (which was good, but not quite enough support for her to succeed). Last weekend we had her out on the EZ-Ski Trainer and all went very well. She was able to use it the first time and shortly was standing up. She is soo happy and so are we. Now she can do more than just ride in a tube.

This is a GREAT product!

This product is amazing. The kids are able to just get on and go. No "dock training" necessary. Being a water skiier I want my kids to ski however my 5 yr was never ablet to get up. When he couldn't get up it was a bit of a blow to his little ego and he decided that he was NEVER going to ski. But with the EZ Ski he was up and skiing in no time flat. He thought he was the man! He was riding backward, backwards with one hand, carving, jumping, everything! He had a blast and now we can't get him off the thing! If you want to teach your kids how to ski in a fun environment and build confidence behind the boat and skiing get the EZSki!

I got this product for our grandson, too many time young children are scared off by the fear of learning, the excess water in the face,when to let go, ect. We wont't be able to blow it up and use it until the warter warms up,so it will still be in the package another couple of months.We really look forward to watching him start to enjoy the water without scaring him with fear.

Wow this ski is the best ever. My 4 year old was ready to try and ski but we had some concerns because she was't able to swim. We didn't want her to get scared and cry the first time out.We sure were wrong.Our concerns were gone within seconds of trying the ski trainer.We were off on a 15 minute ski ride our first try.She was standing up within minutes and turning inside the wake.We got into a little chop and she was jumping the waves!
A quick water break and a little sun screen and she was back out for another 20 to 30 minute ride.This is the best ski trainer period.

When we pulled her in all she was saying is more more more!!!! This is a great product to get your child aquatinted with all aspects of water sports.

I've been teaching kids to ski for over 40 years, using the old ski board type towables. This rig is so much better in that the kids don't have to get into the water. I am shocked at the number of people that boat today that DO NOT teach the young kids to waterski. This is by far the best teaching tool I've yet to see, to get the kids used to the idea of being pulled behind the boat.
